- The EWU Men's Rugby Football Club was formed in 2003 and has rapidly developed into a well respected program. The club joined the Pacific Northwest Rugby Football Union (PNRFU) in 2005 and competes in local, regional, and national competition. While the team has always been strong, in 2010 extraordinary dedication and perseverance by member of the club earned Eastern Washington University the distinction of being ranked 11th nationally by Rugby Magazine. Our team is rapidly progressing further in terms skill and ability and is aptly viewed as the strongest team in PNWRFU’s collegiate DII league.
